Afaqs: After “It’s you” campaign from Yahoo, the brand is all ready to roll out its new campaign but this time to attract advertisers. According to industry estimates, Yahoo generates 80 crore as its advertising revenue and is now looking forward to increase it by attracting more advertisers.
The internet company is making an effort to draw 100 advertisers to their site. The campaign will mainly focus on digital and print media and will run for about six weeks. In few days one can notice half and full page ads published on all major business newspapers and magazines.
Yahoo is also making its campaigns noticed on websites related to advertising and marketing by placing banner ads. Email marketing will also be a step initiated for reaching out the advertisers.
Yahoo is looking forward to target those companies who are already using Internet advertising and other big companies who have not yet made their presence prominent online.
Speaking to Afaqs!, Nitin Mathur, director, marketing, Yahoo! India, says, “The idea behind this campaign is to demonstrate the power of Yahoo! as advertising platform and it will highlight how Yahoo! helped or how leading brands leveraged our platform in the past.”
Mathur adds, “The campaign will emphasize on three key points about Yahoo as an advertising platform – the scale of audience that Yahoo! can provide through its verticals; its consumer targeting capabilities; and creative and interactive possibilities on the site.” An URL, titled Advertising. Yahoo. in, will be promoted through the ads.
