The Advertising Club flagged of the debut edition of Marquees 2017 with much aplomb and fanfare. The awards lauded brands that showcased resilience and emerged successful in the face of numerous adversaries iterating the well-known adage “That which does not break you only makes you stronger”. The high echelon and versatile jury panel of media stalwarts chaired by industry thought leader Mr. Sanjiv Mehta, CEO and Managing Director, Hindustan Unilever ensured that brands that have created value and built sustainable brand stories were recognised at the maiden edition of this marquee awards. Adding further scale and to the awards was the presence of Hon’ble Minister for Textiles and Information & Broadcasting, Smt. Smriti Irani who was the Chief Guest of Honour at the inaugural version of Marquees 2017.
Speaking at the Marques 2017 guest of honor for the awards, Honorable Minister of Textile, Information & Broadcasting, Government of India – Smt. Smriti Irani said “My congratulations to all the award winners and thanks to the jury that made this great selection.
