Titan Eye +, the two-year-old eyewear brand from Titan, is on the lookout for a new creative agency. A pitch has been initiated and agencies have been sent invitations.
Vandana Bhalla, marketing head, Titan Eye+, confirmed the news, however, she chose to remain tight-lipped about the details.
McCann Erickson, Bengaluru has been the brand’s creative custodian since March 2007, when the brand was launched.
Though the pitch is yet to begin, it has been learnt that leading creative agencies in Bengaluru will be part of the process.
Among other Titan brands, Ogilvy handles the creative duties of Titan Watches, while Titan Fastrack is looked after by Lowe Lintas.
Till now, Titan Eye + has mostly been advertised in print media, both newspapers and magazines. It is learnt that though a television commercial was shot for the brand, it wasn’t released. Sources say that the brand didn’t have the budget to take up advertising on television.
