CampaignIndia: The Recruitment Marketing (Remmy) awards instituted by Times Group were recently held in Mumbai. The awards aim at honoring recruitment advertising in the print media and received over 250 entries this year.
REMMY honored Temple Advertising across three categories for Reva Electrical Car Company. Sapient Advertising bagged an award in the IT and Telecom Sector and TBWA won for it advertising for Intelenet Global Services in BPO sector.
Saroj Datta executive director, Jet Airways was the Chief Guest. He says, “The two most important aspects on which the organisation depends on are the manpower hired to run the functions and the other the right kind of training incurred to maintain the high standard of service that is expected out of the employee.”
Alok Nanda, MD, Alok Nanda Company and member of the jury said,” With the changing times, recruitment ads have gained a lot of significance. And the REMMY is a great initiative as it plays an active role towards showcasing and highlighting the need and the importance of recruitment advertising. It’s a great encouragement for the entire industry. For a good recruitment message to be successful, it has to be clean and should have the ability to jump out of the page.”
Apart from Nanda and Padhi, the jury comprised of Sajan Raj Kurup, founder, Creativeland Asia, Gautam Chainani, CPO, Aditya Birla Financial Services, G S Uppal, head – Industrial Relations, corporate sustainability and administration, Tata Motors and Ravi Kiran, CEO, South Asia and emerging market leader- specialist solutions, Starcom MediaVest Group.
