Punjab National Bank is looking to empanel ad agencies, for which it has invited only those agencies whose turnover in last three years has been more than Rs 15 crore per annum. The agencies are required to have a full fledged office in Delhi in order to be part of the empanelment process. Last date for sending applications is March 9, 2012. The size of the business is estimated to be upwards of Rs 15 crore.
Sources close to the development have confirmed the news to exchange4media. The Bank has invited the agencies to present their credentials as of now and no brief has been given yet. No major hauls in the communication activities are expected after the current empanelment process. The empanelment will be for a period of two years.
The duties for the empanelled agencies would include conceptualising and preparing designs for issuing advertisements in print media, outdoor media, cinema halls, films, radio, TV and publicity material.
It may be recalled that Punjab National Bank had called for a pitch in 2008 before this and had empanelled eight agencies on its roster. Some of the agencies empanelled by the Bank in 2008 included Crossway Communication, Perfect 10, Bates and Mercantile Advertising.
