Paresh Nath elected president, ILNA

Paresh Nath of Saras Salil, a publication of Delhi Press, was elected president of the Indian Languages Newspapers Association (ILNA) at its 67th Annual General Meeting. The meeting took place in Delhi on January 14, 2009. He succeeds Sunil Dang.


Nath is deputy president of the Indian Newspaper Society (INS), and founder president of the Association of Indian Magazines (AIM).

The other office bearers elected are: VK Chopra (Gavakari) and Dinesh Shakti Trikha (Kavita Express) as vice-presidents; Anil Agarwal (Amravati Mandal) as general secretary (Headquarter); Krishna Shewdikar (Shramik Ek Joot) and Ravi Bishnoi (Kesar Khushbu Times) as other general secretaries; and Chandrakant Bhave (Dauk) as treasurer.

Members of the executive committee of ILNA include Govind Lal Vora, Girish Kumar Aggarwal, Pushpa Sharma, Rajeev Vashishth, Sandip Kulshreshtha, Sanjay Gupta, Satya Prakash Aseem, Sunil Dang, Uttam Chand Sharma and VG. Wani.

The new co-opted members of the executive committee are Ankit Bishnoi, Chaitanya Kashyap, Gaurav Chopra, Jai Prakash Pandey, Prakash Aggrawal, Vipin Mohan Sharma, Yashpal Singh, and RC Tanvar.
