Having won the ET Power of Ideas mandate earlier this year, the Mudra Mumbai has recently been assigned the creative and media duties for the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
A print campaign is set to hit the media on February 20, 2009 and a TV spot has already been released.
The aim of the campaign is to highlight the role the Civil Aviation Ministry has played in the progress and development of the country. The campaign will highlight the Ministry’s achievements over the last five years such as the various initiatives undertaken by the ministry and the effects they have had on the Indian people. The subjects covered include the modernisation of airports and aircraft, enhanced and improved connectivity, employment opportunities generated, how the profile of the flier has changed and how the common man can now travel by air.
Arijit Ray, Head, Mudra Mumbai, said, “Mudra has considerable experience in the airline industry. We are happy to get an opportunity to communicate the vast improvement in the aviation sector in India.”
Mudra Mumbai ended 2008 with business wins for HCC, Lavasa, Great Indian Shopping Festival and Incredible India. This year also started positively with the agency winning the ‘ET – Power of ideas’ campaign this year. Other highs include winning the ‘Retail Marketing Campaign of the year’ for Big Bazaar as well as the award for the best ad documentary in a recent international film festival for MTDC (Colours of Konkan) recently.
