Mediacom has bagged the opportunity to handle the media duties for TVS Srichakra. A multi agency pitch which involved six other agencies was conducted and six weeks later the selection was made.
A source from the company revealed, “We did the performance evaluation of all the agencies that pitched for the account. Mediacom scored better than the rest.”
The development was confirmed by an official from Mediacom however details regarding the account size and the planned campaign could not be disclosed.
According to a Srichakra official, the estimate and the media mix for the campaign will be finalised in a fortnight’s time.
The company did not have any media agency prior to this.
TVS Srichakra a part of the TVS group was founded in 1982 manufacturers tyres and tubes for mopeds, motorcycles, scooters and three wheelers under its brand, TVS Tyres. They also have a range of industrial pneumatic tyres, farm tyres and tyres for export purposes.
