Afaqs: Law and Kenneth have appointed Anindya Banerjee as the executive creative director for their Delhi branch. However, at the same time he would also be responsible for looking after the Kolkata office.
Confirming the development, Nair CEO and managing partner Kenneth says, “We are glad to have Banerjee in our team. Our Delhi office is poised for greater achievements; and in him, we have found a leader who will help us reach there faster and in style.”
Banerjee has over 15 years of experience across agencies and has worked on brands including Maggi, Hewlett Packard, IBM, Vodafone, Coca-Cola (Limca), Dabur Vatika, GSK (Crocin, Crocin Pain Relief and Eno), Allen Solly, LG Phones, Perfetti and Maruti. He was also the architect of Maggi’s Me and Meri Maggi campaign.
Banerjee holds a Bachelors degree in English Honours. His first started off in the ad world in 1995, when he joined Contract Advertising as a junior writer. After spending a few years there, he moved to Ogilvy Bengaluru as group head, and was later appointed as executive creative director at the agency’s Delhi branch.
Banerjee has won many awards and accolades for his work, at various national and international advertising festivals.
