Jehangir Pocha, Editor, Businees World, who had taken charge in March 2007, has decided to call it quits at Business World.
Speculations about his move to quit were around for quite some time, but now it is clear that he has put in his papers. There is no news of his future plans or his replacement in Business World.
Prior to Businees World magazine, Pocha was the China correspondent for The Boston Globe. During his stint, the magazine underwent a redesign and an editorial revamp that Pocha believes plays a significant role in the increased circulation of the magazine.
Prior to becoming a journalist in 2002, Pocha had spent a decade in business, and worked with several start-ups and Fortune 500 companies in the US. He has an MBA from Mumbai’s SP Jain Institute and a degree in media and foreign policy from Harvard University.
