M&C Saatchi India, has appointed Hemant Sapre as Senior Creative Director and Vice President. Sapre, one of India’s most awarded and respected creative talents will partner Parveez Shaikh in leading the creative product of the office from Mumbai.
Sapre has 18 years of experience in advertising and design. He began his career by working with Lintas (now Lowe) for three years before moving to Trikaya (now Grey) and then to Contract Advertising. During his 11-year stint at Contract, he became a Creative Director. His interest in design helped him take charge of the design specialisation, Design Sutra, at Contract in 2003 and from there he moved to Collage and DMA. Sapre has now found his way back into mainstream advertising at M&C Saatchi.
Parveez Shaikh, Senior Vice President and Executive Creative Director, M&C Saatchi India, said while speaking about the appointmant, “I am absolutely delighted to have Hemant on our side. Sapre’s vast experience across several categories will come in handy for M&C Saatchi. He has worked across brands like Cadbury, ITC Foods, Johnson & Johnson, Bajaj Auto, BPCL, Kinetic Motors, Dunlop, Allianz Bajaj, Franklin Templeton, Prudential ICICI, Asian Paints, ACC Cement, The Telegraph, BBC, Disney Channel, Renaissance/ JW Marriott, Intercontinental, Shoppers Stop, Godrej Foods, and Lakme, among others.
Sapre is highly regarded when it comes to nurturing the creative culture in an organisation. He has won numerous awards and nominations for print, outdoor and film work at Cannes, New York Art Directors’, AAAI, Ad Club, etc.
