Afaqs: Shivani Raina Ghosh, vice-president, business development, TV division, Tangerine Digital Entertainment has decided to quit the firm to join Colors as national director, client servicing. In her new position Ghosh will report to Simran Hoon, national sales head, Colors and will handle brand innovations in Advertiser Funded Programs (AFP) to offer advertisers brand solutions that extend beyond television commercials.
Commenting on her switch to Colors, Ghosh says, “Working with Colors is an opportunity of a lifetime. This completes my work circle as I have tried my hand in media agencies and also as a planner, adding value to brands, worked in the production space and got an understanding as to how content is produced. At Colors, my main function will be to generate revenue.”
Ghosh started her 15 year long successful career as a media trainee at Mudra Videotec. She then took up the position of senior media planner at Mudra Communications as working where she handled brand like Nestle, Samsung and Dabur.
Four years later, she joined Universal McCann as associate media director and was in charge of media buying, annual deal management and media innovations.
Over the next four years, Ghosh worked at Lodestar Universal and FBC Media before joining Tangerine Digital Entertainment as vice-president, business development for the TV division.
