Deepak Chandnani has resigned as CEO of Wire and Wireless India, the multisystem operator (MSO) of the Essel Group. He will be replaced by Sudhir Agarwal, who will be based in Mumbai.
Agarwal has more than eighteen years’ experience in commercial and marketing management and was formerly president, India and SAARC, Haier Telecom. He has worked with telecommunications, consumer electronics and office automation companies such as Motorola, Bharti Televentures, Xerox Modicorp and Philips. He has attended the Advanced Management Program at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and is a postgraduate in business administration from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.
