Contract Advertising has bagged the creative duties for SpiceJet, a low cost carrier. Prior to this the account was with Gopika Chowfla Designs for three years.
Umesh Shrikhande, CEO, Contract Advertising (India) said while speaking about the acquisition, “It is a wonderful opportunity for Contract to partner the process of building brand SpiceJet. We are looking forward to this high flying journey. SpiceJet is a great brand for consumers who seek genuine value in their flying experience. And Contract is proud to be associated with SpiceJet.”
Contract will take charge from January onwards and will work on a national level for refining the communication across all media including outdoor and online.
Sanjay Aggarwal, CEO, SpiceJet, said, “Our researches in the past have shown that brand SpiceJet has a good recall. However, we want to take it to the next level. We were looking for an agency that will be able to provide the right blend of strategic insight, cutting edge creative and innovative thinking and a passion to excel. We believe that Contract will be able to partner us best in this endeavor to position ourselves as the best LCC (Low Cost Carrier) in the Indian skies.”
Contract won the account after a multi-level pitch which included advertising agencies like Ogilvy and Mather (O&M), Bates 101, M&C Satchi, Leo Burnett and Lowe.
