Afaqs: Rana Barua, executive vice-president and national head, programming and marketing, Radio City has called it quits.
After joining Radio City in 2006 as marketing head, South zone, Barua was elevated to the position of national head, marketing, in 2008. This was part of the restructuring process at Radio City which also saw him take the additional responsibility of programming.
Barua has a total of 14 years of experience, during which he has worked for big advertising firms like Bates Enterprises, Rediffusion DY&R, McCann-Erickson, Lowe, O&M and JWT.
