Ashish Kaul, Group Chief Operating Officer, BAG Films & Media, has put in his papers. Kaul has bid adieu to the Delhi-based media Group less than six months of joining it.
Highly placed sources in BAG Films have confirmed this development. According to the available information, September 31 was Kaul’s last day at BAG Films.
Kaul had joined BAG Films & Media in April 2008 after a decade-long association with Zee Network, where his last position was that of Executive Vice-President, Corporate Brand Development.
At BAG Films, he was working closely with Anurradha Prasad, Chairman and Managing Director, and the core team of the Group, identifying business vision strategy, building organisational capability and strategising to achieve short term and long term goals of the Group. He was responsible for steering the Group’s diversification plan encompassing TV, radio, convergence, animation, education, and film and TV production.
It is yet not known where Kaul is headed. He could not be reached for comments despite several attempts to contact him.
