JWT Bangalore has won the ING Vysya Bank creative account. Quite a large one considering it has an established presence in South India. 5 other creative agencies lost out to JWT Bangalore, as per the press release. It was a business deal reported to be worth around Rs. 20 crore. Currently Rediffusion DY&R is the creative agency.
ING Vysya Bank is planning to reach out to other parts of the country, focusing more on the North and the West. The bank is expecting to enhance its brand presence and visibility throughout the country, and, to that end, they have signed on with JWT. The campaign is likely to first begin with above-the-line activities, including TV, print, outdoor and online.
“Joining the pitch so late, the team had to be incredibly focused. We were able to form a cohesive strategy around a big idea. I would like to thank everyone on the team for their determination and hard work,” said Rajesh Gangwani, Senior VP, JWT.
Some of the key team members are Prahlad Nanjappa who will be fulfilling the role of Creative Head, Navonil Chatterjee as Associate VP – Strategic Planning, Tina Sachdev, Associate VP – creative), Dennis Koshy, Associate VP – Account Management, Karan Doshi, Creative Supervisor, and Krishna Prasad, Creative Supervisor.
