Known as the ‘cultural movement agency’ worldwide since 1999, Scott Goodson’s StrawberryFrog has entered India with Raj Kamble as Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer. It may be recalled that Kabmle had quit BBH India as Managing Partner in January this year before which he was Senior VP and Creative Director with BBDO Worldwide New York on the global P&G and Gillette businesses.
StrawberryFrog has offices in New York and Amsterdam.
Speaking to BestMediaInfo.com, Kamble said, “Our goal is to make StrawberryFrog the happiest agency in India. We will have a team of hybrid people with fresh talent who want to solve conventional problems in the most unconventional ways. We have an art director who is not from any art school but an MBA! Besides Art Director, we have created positions like Innovation Director. So, you will see a fresh talent pool at StrawberryFrog. We have started our Mumbai operations with five people on board while a few others are expected to join shortly.”Goodson said, “Given the importance of India both for globalising Indian firms looking to grow their companies in new markets and our current clients looking to grow their business in India, it was imperative that we have an office in India. Our relationship with Mahindra & Mahindra for which we conceptualised the ‘Rise’ campaign and then our global relationship with P&G encouraged us to set up a shop in India.”
