Afaqs: Wynn Telecom has roped in Saif Ali Khan as the brand ambassador to represent its new mobile handset brand, Wynncom.
Naved Chaudhary, head of marketing, Wynn Telecom speaks, “Wynncom needs a fresh look, which is popular among the youth. Since the target customer for this handset is youngsters, we promptly thought of getting Saif aboard, whose cool image and looks will match the trendiness of the product.” He further adds, “Wynncom’s aim is to make a place among the top three Indian handset brands eventually; and signing on Khan is a step in that direction.”
As a part of marketing, Wynn Telecom will utilize all forms of communication including print, electronic, radio and digital and outdoor. The estimated amount to spend on the campaign is Rs 25 crore. The brand has called in for a creative pitch to finalize the media agency.

About his contract with Wynn Telecom, Khan says that he looks forward to an association with Wynncom, a brand that hopes to stand for cutting-edge innovation and style. “I admire the brand’s attitude and style and relate to it closely, as it is refreshingly trendy and fast,” he says in a communiqué.
