Exchange4Media: After bagging Zee Entertainment and Colgate Palmolive early this year, Mediaedge:cia (MEC) India have now won the Mercedes-Benz India business. Although no official announcement has been made as yet, industry sources have confirmed this development.
MEC has won the account from Media Direction, the media services arm of RK Swamy BBDO, which was the incumbent agency.
Mercedes-Benz India has pioneered the luxury car segment in India since 1995. At present, Mercedes-Benz India’s engagement in India covers several domains like local production of Mercedes-Benz cars, making available imported Mercedes-Benz cars, commercial vehicle operations, global sourcing of auto components, and captive automotive technology research and development.
