As soon as Vinita Bangard and Manish Porwal made their exit from Percept Talent Management’s (PTM) leadership role, Shailee Sanghvi has been appointed as the chief operating officer (COO).
Prior to this development Shailee used to be the associate VP of PTM. She has been associated with the Percept Group since January 2003. In her stint as the AVP, she was responsible for the sales and marketing portfolio of corporates, celebrity management and relationship management portfolios as well.
Speaking about her appointment, Shailee said, “I am honored to lead India’s premier talent management company. I’ve had the privilege of working with some of the best talent and clients that one could wish for – both locally and globally. I look forward to taking PTM to the next level in the coming years and establishing it not just as India’s best but a global name in the field of talent management.”
Shailendra Singh, Joint MD, Percept Limited, said, “Shailee has abundant experience and exposure in the field of talent marketing, and we are confident that PTM will grow even further under her able leadership.”
Percept further stated that Vinita Bangard who resigned as the COO, will work with the company till 30 April, 2010. Bangard’s reason for stepping down as stated by her, “compelling family obligations and the extended time-off that will be required by her to tackle these personal issues.”
“I have spent over 15 years with the Percept Group, and it has been an exciting and fruitful journey which I will cherish immensely. I needed to take an extended break due to certain personal compulsions, and will utilize this interim period to figure out the next phase of my journey” said Bangard.
Percept also stated that Manish Porwal had a contractual term with PTM for 2 years lasting up to 2 January, 2010. The grapevine has it that Porwal is working his way towards working in an advisory capacity in the Intellectual Property (IP) space.
