Senior creative director Anupama Mandloi, heading the non-fiction programming at STAR Plus, has resigned. She has confirmed her resignation but has not revealed her next step. The exact date of her exit has not yet been finalised.
Mandloi has been associated with STAR since July 2007 when she used to oversee the non-fiction department of STAR Plus the networks flagship channel. While she was at it the channel had launched a whole lot of non-fiction shows like as Sach Ka Saamna, Lux Perfect Bride and Aap Ki Kachehri.
Prior to STAR Mandloi had a brief stint at Fremantle Media and her longest stint was with Sony, lasting nine and a half years.
While she was with Sony, she played many roles such as on-air programming director, on-air programming head and creative director and as senior vice president and head, on-air programming. She also played a crucial role in SAB TV, after it was taken over by SET from Shri Adhikari Brothers in 2005.
Monika Shergill, the erstwhile creative head of STAR One, will be replacing Mandloi.
