The grapevine has it that Skoda Auto India has invited creative agencies for a pitch for its forthcoming variant of the premium hatchback, Fabia. The new car will be launched in the country around the third quarter of the forthcoming year.
Fabia would be launched in new variants and would be available in three versions petrol, diesel and green-line (eco-friendly). Indian market has an immense potential for premium hatchback cars and therefore Skoda decided to launch it here.
The officials at Skoda India have circulated a brief amongst a couple of creative agencies for the presentations which are slated to begin next week.
Mediacom being the media AoR for the company in India would continue to handle these duties.
The creative duties of Skoda India are solely handled by Law & Kenneth. It handles the creative duties for Fabia, Octavia, Laura and Superb.
Skoda entered the Indian premium car market in 2001. It set up the company’s only manufacturing facility outside Europe at Shendra, which is on the outskirts of Aurangabad.
