Creativeland Asia has managed to rope in Paul Menacherry as its executive creative director. He will be looking after the agency’s South based operations and will be based in Kochi.
According to Sajan Raj Kurup, founder and chief creative officer, Creativeland Asia, Menacherry is immensely creative with an excellent business expertise. The comiination of qualities that he possesses are extremely valued at Creativeland.
Their south based clients from Chennai, Bangalore and Kochi comprise Café Coffee Day, Medimix Soaps, John Distilleries and Cuticura Soaps. Creativeland uses its Kochi office as a R&D facility for creative and design which is called CLA Labs. CLA Labs are meant to research as well as to test ideas.
Menacherry finds the culture to be very unique at Creativeland Asia. He comments that there is a rare combination of freedom as well as responsibility. He also indicates that at Creativekland there is no place for old and tired ideas.
Meancherry is a mechanical engineer. He commenced his advertising career about 15 years ago. He has been the creative director at Saatchi & Saatchi and Trikaya. He has also worked with a gamut of brands like Euro, PSL, McCann and TBWA, as well as Mahindra, Godrej, Tata Mutual Fund, TVS, Indigo Nation, Hindustan Times, BPL Mobile and Gujarat Ambuja.
Menacherry’s work has gained worldwide recognition. He has been awarded at Clio, Cannes and London International. He has also been featured in the Archives, The WORK.
