Karthik makes way for Malhotra at Balaji Telefilms

After the exit of two of the CFOs at Balaji Telefilms, chief executive officer, R Karthik has also decided to resign from his position which he took over in April 2007.
Karthik had spent 12 years at Balaji, rising from the position of a senior marketing executive to eventually become the CEO of the media house. Commenting on his decision, Karthik says, “I’ve learnt a lot of things at Balaji in the 12 years that I’ve spent here. I wish to take those learnings to a new place.”

To replace Karthik, Balaji Telefilms have appointed Vikram Malhotra, as chief operating officer of Balaji Motion Pictures Earlier, who was earlier heading the marketing operations at Kingfisher Airlines.
