Ogilvy India’s Avasthi and Rao take on the role of co-NCDs

In a move to ensure that Ogilvy India stays ahead of the advertising game in these dynamic and testing times, its old creative hands – Abhijit Avasthi and Rajiv Rao have now been promoted to the post of national creative directors by the agency’s national board.

The duo, who had so far held the post of executive creative directors for the South Asian region, will now share the responsibilities of Piyush Pandey, the former national creative director.

Previously examples of such a dual creative structure in the advertising fraternity include Ashish Khazanchi and Prasanna Sankhe from Publicis Ambience, and Sagar Mahabaleshwarkar-Minakshi Achan (previously Ramanuj Shastry was Mahabaleshwarkar’s partner) for Rediffusion Y&R.
