Manish Sinha has moved to The Futures Company, a part of the WPP group, as principal consultant and business head, Delhi.
He was earlier with Mudra Marketing Services (MMS) as senior vice-president, strategy. Sinha will report to Rima Gupta, who is the country head of The Futures Company.
The Futures Company deals in research and carries out strategic consulting in areas such as consumer segmentation, brand architecture and brand positioning. Some of its clients in India include Cadbury, The Times of India, Titan, Tata Chemicals and National Geographic Channel.
Sinha has spent about 14 years in the world of media and advertising. He started his career by selling software code in 1994. Next, he joined JWT in client servicing, where he handled clients such as Pepsi and Ford. He moved to account planning in 2000 and worked with Leo Burnett Delhi, where he handled clients such as Dabur, SAB Miller, GPI and Benetton.
In 2003, he joined Ogilvy and subsequently moved on to TBWA. He became a national planning director at Brand David in 2006 and in April 2008, he moved to Mudra Marketing Services.
