Aegis Media continues in action since it appointed Ashish Bhasin as chairman, India and CEO, South East Asia in June last year.
Certain changes ensued after Bhasin came aboard. Kartik Iyer soon joined Carat, India as its MD, taking over from PV Narayanmoorthy. Narayanmoorthy is now in charge of planning, training and importing global tools and processes into India and adapting them to this market.
Isobar (the digital unit of Aegis Media) and Posterscope (the out-of-home unit of Aegis Media) were also launched and Shamsuddin Jasani and Haresh Nayak took charge of the two, respectively.
While speaking about the change, Jhaveri, said, “Having worked on various new business pitches and handling business at my earlier stint, this role was a natural progression for me. The strong tools and processes at Carat were also a clincher.”
Jhaveri adds, “I look forward to use my past experience and strength as a media strategist to taking these tools to market in a tough market situation, where efficiency and innovation will be the key pillars to brand success. The top three things on my agenda are, Business, business, business.”
