New York-based magazine for chief executives of fast-growing private companies, Inc., will soon be launched in India. The Indian version is called Inc. India and is being brought to India by Pramath Raj Sinha promoted media company, 9.9 Mediaworx.
It will hit the news stands by June.
“Unlike other licensing tie-ups, we will be generating Indian content though we will be using Inc.’s iconic design, ideas and some of the content. Inc. India will have an editorial team of around 10-12 people. The editor for the magazine has not been decided yet”, said Sinha.
The company is still awaiting the government’s approval to publish the magazine in India. In the meantime, it will launch its four-page electronic version in February. The price of the monthly is yet to be decided but it will have more than a hundred pages.
“India is a very dynamic and young entrepreneurial community, and Inc. is excited to be a part of it. Our deal with 9.9 Mediaworx will help us expand our efforts to support entrepreneurship as a powerful force in the world.” says John Koten, CEO and editor in chief, Mansueto Ventures, which publishes Inc.
John explains that the magazine provides market-tested strategies for managing people, finances, sales, marketing and technology. In addition, it looks beyond work to address the entrepreneurial lifestyle.
