The Bhaskar Group has appointed Namita Bawa as Head, Product Development. She will be based in New Delhi and will report to Rajiv Jaitly, President, Marketing and Advertising Sales, Bhaskar Group.
Namita will be responsible for marketing, development and revenue enhancement of all products under the Bhaskar banner. She will also be responsible for the Group’s new launches in the Indian market.
Rajiv Jaitly said, “We are very pleased to welcome Namita on board. She has a high level of experience in product marketing and will be able to use her expertise to manage and market Bhaskar Group publications.”
Namita says, “I am elated to join Bhaskar Group which follows an innovative approach towards marketing. I am looking forward to being part of the team which is leading the way with its originality in the product arena and marketing strategies.”
Namita brings on board an experience of 12 years spanning several marketing majors. Prior to joining Bhaskar, she worked with the tobacco division of GPI for over 5 years, where she played an important role in product development and new product launches.
Prior to GPI, Namita was with McCann Erickson, where she worked closely with industry leaders such as Perfetti, Nestle, Motorola, Hindustan Times, GPI and Panasonic.
