Mindshare India has made some key changes in its top level management. It has appointed MA Parthasarathy as partner, business planning, South Asia and Alok Sinha, has been appointed as partner, invention, Mindshare, South Asia.
MA Parthasarthy is a Mechanical Engineer from BITS Pilani and PGDM from IIM Kolkata. He started his career with Tata IBM as a marketing executive. He then shifted to the world of advertising, joining JWT India in 1995. Over the past 14 years in JWT, he has donned various hats: he has been an account manager, a strategic planner, a business director, and in his most recent role was regional account director on the Ford Account for the Asia-Pacific and Africa region, based out of Bangkok.
In addition to that he has also worked with clients in the financial services, telecom and retail sectors as a strategic planner. In his new role at Mindshare, he will be based out of Bangalore.
Sinha is currently based out of Mindshare Singapore, helping markets with new business development and enhancing strategic solutions for the Maybelline and LG businessess in China, while also looking at improved service delivery on Nestle in Indonesia and is currently in a regional client leadership role on Pepsi and Nestle. Alok Sinha had joined Mindshare from Carat, where he had spent four years in communication planning and tools, and process training roles.
His last assignment with Carat was on P&G in Manila where he set up the team to service that business and led the office from a two brand mandate to one spanning many P&G brands in the Philippines. Previously, he was a planning director at Ogilvy in India, and before that with Gallup and Lowe in India, in research roles.
Sinha’s key client experience spans names such as P&G, Danone, J&J, IBM, adidas, BMW & Levers. He brings with him 15 years of experience with the brand agency account planning discipline and research expertise. Sinha will be based in Delhi.
Pat Vinayak is also returning to India after working at Mindshare Sri Lanka. In her new role, Vinayak will lead the exchange function for the newly formed Team ABG. Team ABG and Team Unilever will continue to be independent and autonomous in their trading initiatives.
