15 year old Integra Advertising and a decade old Matrix Advertising have come together under the name of Tiger Advertising. The merger states equal partnership between the two companies. Tiger Advertising will offer a wider range of services.
The merger assumes prominence as both the players are going strong in their respective areas and it is a first of its kind merger in Vadodara. It is the first time that two advertising agencies have come together to consolidate their position. Both the agencies are claiming to have registered highest growth in the last fiscal.
While Integra launched Manikchand Group’s Oxyrich mineral water with a ‘300% More Oxygen’ campaign through various media, Matrix’s clientele includes state agencies and PSUs.
Integra’s clients include Aditya Birla Group’s Birla Balwaan Fertilisers, Yera Glassware, Hindalco Industries, Shilchar Industries, Kemrock Industries, Grand Polycoats and Diamond Power Infrastructure, among others. Matrix serves largely public sector units like ONGC, BSNL, Gujarat Alkalies & Chemicals, State Bank of India and Airport Authority of India, among others, besides local business outfits.
Pantul Kothari, CEO, Integra, said, “Amalgamating into one single entity would bring the best of both the agencies together, resources, expertise, experience and clientele. The merger will result in one of the region’s largest creative hot shops. Also, Tiger Advertising is a collective culmination of over 25 years of industry experience of its founders,” adding that Tiger Advertising received full accreditation from the Indian Newspaper Society from the very beginning and that speaks volumes about strong fundamentals and credentials of both the agencies.
“Tiger will provide a range of advertising services covering print, electronic, web and outdoor media, brand and corporate campaigns, exhibitions and events. We now have a team of about 50 professionals with the drive to plan and execute ideas, strategies and design. We decided to opt for banner ‘Tiger’ to represent young, restless and raring-to-go-for-the-kill image of the team.” Mihir Shah, chairman, Matrix said.
Shah added that the merger has not resulted in dismissal of any employees but rather Tiger Advertising is in the process of increasing headcount.
