Three Indian ad gurus make it to the 3rd Dubai Lynx jury

Three high-profile Indian ad professionals — Agnello Dias, Srikant Shastri and Jasmin Sohrabji — have been chosen to be on the jury of the 3rd Dubai Lynx Awards, which is part of the


2nd Dubai International Advertising Festival to be held from 15-17 March, 2009, at The Palladium in Dubai Media City.

While Dias of Roots India — also ex-national creative director of JWT India — will join the traditional media (film, print, outdoor & radio) jury, Shastri, MD & co-founder of Solutions Digitas, will rub shoulders with his global peers in the direct, sales promotions & interactive jury. Jasmin Sohrabji, MD, OMD India, will be part of the media awards jury.

Presented by the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, Dubai Lynx is held with the support of Dubai Media City and in association with the UAE Chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA). The Times of India Group is the India partner for Dubai Lynx.

The Dubai International Advertising Festival brings together advertising talent from across the Middle-East and North Africa region, as well as from around the world.

A series of high-profile seminars, workshops, exhibitions and screenings are held, aimed at providing creative inspiration, learning and networking opportunities to the advertising and allied industries.

In 2009, the 3rd Dubai Lynx Awards, which forms part of the Festival, will honour and celebrate creative excellence in TV/Cinema, Print, Outdoor, Radio, Interactive, Direct & Sales Promotion, Media and Integrated advertising.
