The creative mind behind Amul girl leaves for heavenly abode

Afaqs: The creative mind behind iconic Amul girl Eustace Fernandes passed away leading to a loss in the advertising industry. He was a great cartoonist and intense worker the ad agency had.

Eustace Fernandes was a well known cartoonist and illustrator. Although he was retired, the advertising industry still looked up to him. Fernandes handled the Amul account for three years. He has also launched the Limca logo that became popular in the Indian market.  

The well loved amul girl has made waves since she was first seen on screen and will now complete 44 years. The amul character is all set to enter Guinness book of World records for being the longest run campaign.  

The ad agency is already feeling loss of Mr. Fernandes and will always fondly remember him.
