Sunil Sahjwani returned to The Times of India Group as Chief Creative Consultant. Sahjwani said, “The clarity of the role shall be given officially when the Group is ready to announce the same. It was not a sudden move. The tenure of two years and seven months was very good for me.”
Earlier Sahjwani was Director – Creative and Content, Zoom. He has over 27 years’ experience in the media and entertainment industry ranging from advertising, print, radio, films and television. He had pioneered the FM radio revolution, the corporate model of Bollywood filmmaking, and music television, among others.
Sahjwani earlier assignments also include ETC Networks, where he was Director-Programming, and Reliance Entertainment, where he was VP-Creative. Prior to joining BCCL, Sahjwani was CEO of Percept Picture Company and before that he was with Radio Mirchi as National Creative Director.
He had earlier worked on several international productions, which include shows for BBC’s Channel 4 and CNN as well as on some assignments in the Indian television scenario. He had also directed the popular ‘BPL Oye’, for which he had won the
