RECORD NUMBER OF ENTRIES RECEIVED AT AD CLUB’S EFFIES 2014

As you all are aware that this year happens to be the 60th year of the Advertising Club.

Amongst the many brands that Ad Club has created Effies is one of its premier property.

The Advertising Club instituted Effies way back in 2001, in fact it is the first Asian Partner chosen by Effies New York to run the event in this part of the world.

It made a modest beginning with 53 entries in the year 2001 and now in its 14th year it has received the highest no. of entries ever i.e. 465 entries.

The EFFIEs is an international award that recognizes effectiveness in Marketing, and a most coveted trophy in the Advertising and Marketing fraternity. The EFFIEs has built a reputation for acknowledging work that has proved itself in the marketplace. To win, participants must not only demonstrate a high order of competence in the processes that lead to the creative work, but also a proven, documented, verifiable roster of results.

This year to further enrich the award, bring greater focus and give our awards a true International flavour, we have aligned our entire Call for Entry form with Effies New York.  In fact our Call for Entry form is approved by Effies New York.

With a view to engage the marketing fraternity from Delhi in its scheme of things the Ad Club has been conducting Effies judging sessions for Round I & II in Delhi since the last two years.

The grand gala ceremony is scheduled on Friday, 16th January 2015, at the SeaSide Lawns, Hotel Taj Lands End, Bandra, Mumbai at 6.45 p.m.
