PepsiCo India will launch a new television commercial on 15 February which targets India’s ‘Youngistaan’ generation.
The TVC was conceptualised by JWT creative directors Charu Chittwal, and Soumitra Karnik and directed by Rajesh Krishnan of Soda Films.
It features cricketers like MS Dhoni, Ishaant Sharma, Virender Sehwag and Sreeshant, taking viewers back in time to when these superstars were ordinary boys aspiring to play cricket for India.
PepsiCo India executive vice president-marketing (Cola) Sandeep Singh Arora says, “ With the new ‘Youngistaan TVC’, we will challenge convention related to one of the largest issues in a Pepsi way thereby inspiring youngsters wanting to make it big in life backed by self-belief and thirst to succeed rather than by connections.”
