Afaqs: According to industry sources, Omnicom Media Group (OMG) has been appointed as the digital agency on record (AoR) of FMCG major Hindustan Unilever (HUL) and will now look after the digital media buying and planning for all HUL brands.
HUL’s focus on the digital medium is apparent by this move and is expected to spend close to 30 crore this year on digital advertising namely, search, display and mobile marketing for more than of its 10 brands like Dove, Ponds, Axe, Lakme, Kwality Walls and Knorr.
HUL however, has continued with Mindshare as its traditional media AoR.
