Mudra Connext has appointed Manas Mishra as executive vice-president. Mishra will head the national operations of Mudra Connext in six cities: Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kochi.
Mishra has a total of thirteen years’ experience in the industry, having worked with Contract Advertising, Starcom and Initiative. His previous post was at Mediaedge:cia, where he headed the Mumbai office as general manager for three and a half years.
Chandradeep Mitra, president, Mudra Max, says in an official statement, “Manas’ experience and professional capability will surely help our teams deliver superior communication solutions to our clients. I am confident of his capability to take Connext to the next level of professional excellence.”
Mishra commented on his plans for Connext, “There is a lot of work to do. First on the list is growing the business and building talent. We’d like to be able to deliver good solutions to our clients with proper understanding and be passionate about what we do.” He says that with network agencies, it isn’t as difficult to obtain global businesses – that will be a challenge at Connext.
Mudra Connext was created in April when Mudra consolidated its media duties and became a full service agency. Its clients include ACC Cement, Amway, HBO, ICI Paints, Indian Rayon, Jyothy Laboratories, the Malayala Manorama Group, MTV Networks, Ticketvala, RmKV, Sify.com, Spice Mobile, TTK Prestige, Yatra.com and Zenith Computers. The other agencies under Mudra Max, the media hub of the Mudra Group, are Connext, Radar and Videotec.
