The agency has elevated two copywriters — Amod Dani and Vikram Pandey — to the position of creative directors.
Dani has been in the industry for close to five years. After completing his post-graduation from MICA, he joined Lowe, Doha as an intern. He then moved to Lowe, Mumbai, where he worked with Priti Nair for a year.
He joined Leo Burnett in 2006, where he has worked on brands such as Mc Donald’s, Tata Capital and Reliance Mobile. The brands he handled at Lowe include Surf, Idea, Wheel and Liril.
Dani has won a silver award at New York Festivals (NYF) and an award at Ad Fest for his work on Akshara Foundation. His work on Tiger Balm won him accolades at the GoaFest and the Mirchi Kaan Awards.
Pandey will soon complete six years in the industry. He was among the first batch of graduates from Mumbai’s National College’s BMM programme. He joined Ogilvy India as a management trainee and stayed on for three years. He worked with Manoj Motiani and Jignesh Maniar at Ogilvy; and some of the brands he handled are Fevicol, Castrol, Kotak Mutual Funds and Fevistick. He then moved on to Leo Burnett, where he has worked on brands such as Reliance Mobile and McDonald’s.
Pandey’s work has also won a couple of awards over the years. He won a gold award at London International Awards (LIA) for Fevicol. He also won the Indian Newspaper Society’s award, INS Think Print, which was held in association with the Abby’s.
