Some changes have been made in Law & Kenneth’s senior management. Varinder Kant has been appointed senior vice-president and will look after the day to day operations of the branch.
Ashutosh Negi has been appointed head of art for the Delhi branch. Charu Bakshi, branch head, Law & Kenneth Delhi, has been made creative consultant for the agency, particularly the Dabur accounts. Saurav Ghoshal, associate vice-president and head, client servicing, has left the agency to join Mudra as group director, brand communications.
Both Kant and Negi joined the agency a few weeks ago. Negi has almost ten years’ experience in the ad industry, including almost four years at JWT in his most recent post. He began his career with Dhar & Hoon as a trainee. He then moved to Mumbai to work with filmmaker Rakesh Omprakash Mehra for almost two years. He has also worked for DraftFCB Ulka, Contract and JWT.
Kant has sixteen years’ experience in the ad business. He began his career in 1991 as a trainee with TBWA (then Anthem) before joining JWT (then HTA) in 1992. He has also worked for Rediffusion Y&R (then Rediffusion DY&R), Publicis and Cheil as well as running his own consultancy for two years.
Bakshi will look after the Dabur portfolio, which includes Dabur Foods (Real Activ, Dabur Homemade, Capsico, Lemoneez and three new brand portfolios) and Dabur Healthcare (Honitus Syrup, Chewable, Honeymint lozenges and Dabur Thanda Tel). Kailash Saraban, creative director at the agency’s Delhi branch, will be responsible for the other brands such as ColorBar and 24×7 Stores.
