BloombergUTV’s newly appointed Business Head Deepak Lamba will be taking charge of his new office in January 2010. Currently he is the Director of Viacom Brand Solutions at MTV Networks India.
The grapevine has it that BloombergUTV is on the prowl for a sales head as well and he would be reporting to Lamba.
The collaboration of Bloomberg and UTV took place in October. MK Anand was roped in as CEO to head the four entertainment channels – UTV Movies, UTV Bindass, Bindass Movies and UTV World Movies – offered by UTV Global Broadcasting a couple of months ago and Shantonu Aditya had resigned as CEO of BloombergUTV last month.
