India has 13 entries in the YoungGuns 2009 shortlist. O&M has eight shortlisted entries, JWT has three entries and Rediffusion Y&R and Leo Burnett have one entry each.
O&M Mumbai’s Sour Marbels ‘Cave-man’, ‘Diver’ and ‘Tourist’ for Perfetti Van Mele have been shortlisted in Print Advertising Newspapers category as well as the Out-of-home outdoor posters category. Sour Marbels has also been shortlisted in Print Advertising Campaigns Newspaper and Out-of-home campaigns category.
‘Run/Ban Jallikatu’ for The Times of India by JWT Chennai has been shortlisted in the Digital-being Involved category and ‘Arjuna the Archer in 2008’ for Sulekha.com has been shortlisted in Ad in Digital Visual Design – Aesthetic category. JWT India’s ‘Berger Natural Finish Colours’ for Berger Paints in India has been shortlisted in Out-of-home outdoor large format category.
Rediffusion Y&R’s ‘Airtel Mobile Phone Data Backup Service’ for Bharti Airtel has been shortlisted in Print Advertising Campaigns Newspapers category. Leo Burnett’s ‘Wrapper’ for P&G Whisper is a shortlist in Direct Mail Low Volume Mailings category.
