Tara Kapur is the new vice president and head of Grey Public Relations, India. She will be handling and leading the agency’s national business, strategy and client servicing operations across all branches. Kapur is said to be reporting to Jishnu Sen, COO, Grey India.
Kapur has had 20 years of experience in the field of marketing and PR. Boasting a Masters in Economics; she started her career with Good Relations followed by Ogilvy PR where she led the Bombay team. Kapur had an eight year long association with Euro RSCG. She was responsible for setting up the Public Relations profit centre for McCann Erickson India.
Speaking on her appointment Kapur said, “I am excited about the new mandate at Grey India and the road ahead. The complex business and media environment of today calls for ‘strategy-based’ innovative PR campaigns that help our clients meet their business objectives or address specific challenges. I look forward to working on innovative strategies for our clients.”
