GryInspite of prior reports about Ogilvy having bagged the Wockhardt account it has now been annpounced that Grey Bangalore has finally bagged the creative duties for Wockhardt Hospitals.
The reason for the change of authority of creative duties remains unexplained. The size of the business stands at Rs 20 crore. It is learnt from sources close to the project that there was a competitive pitch that saw the participation of MAA Communications, Lintas, O&M and Grey. Grey Bangalore and O&M were reportedly shortlisted for the final round. Lintas Media Group is handling the media duties.
Commenting on the decision to go with Grey, Vishal Bali, CEO, Wockhardt Hospitals, said, “We have major plans to diversify and we were looking for an agency that would closely partner us and develop communication that would help us consolidate in existing markets and create a strong entry for us in newer markets. After a long drawn pitch process, we have finally decided to go ahead with Grey.
