Gaurav Bhatia, based in Mumbai, heads marketing for the largest luxury firm in India, Moët Hennessy (LVMH).
Bhatia’s role at Moët Hennessy India involves leading marketing initiatives, communications and PR for their iconic champagnes, wines and spirits. Bhatia has eight years of experience in advertising on Madison Avenue. In 2006 he moved from New York back home.
His penchant for luxury marketing matches his passion and knowledge of luxe. An opinion leader in the field, he writes a column on luxury; speaks on the art of luxury to corporates and top hotels, and is often invited to be a guest writer for key publications, such as The Times of India, the Hindustan Times and L’Officiel, to celebrate and increase awareness of luxury brands in India. He has studied at the prestigious Cathedral & John Connon School in Mumbai and graduated from Middlebury College, Vermont, in the U.S. where he majored in Economics and Film Making.
