Dentsu Creative Impact wins creative mandate for Splash

Dentsu Creative Impact, one of the roster agencies of Maruti Suzuki in India, has been appointed as the creative partner for the new small car, Splash.


The agency won the pitch against the other three roster agencies – Lowe, Capital Advertising and Hakuhodo Percept.

Shashank Srivastava, chief GM, marketing, Maruti Suzuki India, confirmed the development and said, “Dentsu Creative Impact won the business following a round of creative and strategic presentation, which was very enduring and larger than the brand itself.”

Dentsu was the latest addition in the Maruti family, it has handled the creative duties for Zen Estilo. O&M used to handle this business earlier. The present win of Dentsu does not surprise the industry at a large.

Lowe handles the SX4, Omni, Alto, Swift Dzire and Versa. Capital handles the Swift and Maruti’s corporate account. Hakuhodo Percept handles the Maruti 800, WagonR, Grand Vitara Escudo and the recently launched A-Star.
