Reliance BIG Entertainment, after its successful foray into the media and entertainment space is all set to boost its offerings further in the entertainment space through BIG Broadcasting. With BIG Broadcasting, an initiative from the Reliance ADA Group, the Company will be launching a bouquet of TV channels catering to diverse needs of audiences across genres.
BIG Broadcasting, an offering from the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, announced the appointment of Manavjeet Singh as Head – Distribution (Domestic and International). In his new profile, Manavjeet will be handling the Distribution function for the Indian and overseas markets.
Prior to joining BIG Broadcasting, Manavjeet was Country Head & Executive Vice President for Reliance Consumer Finance, a division of Reliance Capital, which comprised ofVehicle Loans, Mortgages, SME Loans, Credit Card and Personal Loans. Before this, he was part of the Retail Assets Team with HDFC Bank working as Executive Vice President, heading 4 business verticals – Car Loans, Commercial Transportation, Healthcare Finance and Branch Sales. His assignments prior to this were with SBI Mutual Fund in the capacity of Chief Marketing Officer and also with Citigroup and Xerox.
Distribution is a critical function in the emerging & cluttered Indian broadcast scenario. With regulatory, technological & business changes rapidly influencing Distribution dynamics, Manavjeet’s excellent track record and rich experience in the retail finance sector will help BIG Broadcasting successfully implement its distribution strategy across markets.
