This Summer Win a Cannes Scholarship. Read on to know how!
The Advertising Club Bombay along with The Times Group, the official representative of Cannes in India, is offering an opportunity to undergraduate and postgraduate students this summer to earn the prestigious Cannes Lions Academy Diploma.
Applicants along with their Identity Cards and zerox copies of the first and last two pages of their passport can register. Possession of a valid passport is an essential requirement. Non Passport holders need not apply.
You can register at the Ad Club’s Office address – 504, Radhe Vallabh Society, French Bridge Corner, Opera House, Mumbai – 400004 before Friday, 25th April, 2008 between 10.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. The registration fee is Rs.200/-.
A written test will be held on Wednesday, 30th April, 2008. It will be followed by another exercise of making of a theme based ad. The test will be conducted at the below given venue. The answer paper and creative will be judged by a panel of top ad professionals.
Names of the Short listed candidates will be put up on our website on Monday 5th May, 2008 at 3.00p.m. These selected candidates will be required to participate in a Group discussion and appear for an interview on Thursday, 8th May, 2008.
The winner will be declared post the Interviews on Thursday, 8th May, 2008, itself.
The Advertising Club Bombay, will sponsor the winner who gets an all expenses paid seven day trip to the Cannes Advertising Festival plus the Cannes Lions BA Scholarship involving one week of training starting 15th June, 2008 to 21st June, 2008.
The eligibility criterion as defined by Cannes is, students must:

Study advertising, communications, or marketing with a view to working in the advertising industry

Be fluent in speaking and understanding English

Be 18-23 years of age
