93.5 RED FM is the principal sponsor of ‘Hyderabad SunRisers’for IPL 2013

In a country where cricket is religion, the Pepsi Indian Premier League (PEPSI IPL) is one of the most-awaited cricketing tournaments. For the first time ever in the history of Indian radio industry, a radio channel is a principal sponsor of PEPSI IPL cricket team. India’s largest radio network, RED FM, is the principal sponsor for ‘Hyderabad SunRisers’. All the team members of ‘Hyderabad SunRisers’ will sport a RED FM logo on their jersey. The logo is strategically placed on the leading arm of each player.

Being the official sponsor for the team, RED FM will give cricket fans a golden opportunity to meet the star players of ‘Hyderabad SunRisers’, by running a contest on-air. The radio station will also run contests where official merchandize of ‘Hyderabad SunRisers’ will be distributed as gratification.

Additionally, the SunRisers’ home turf, the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad, will experience the true spirit of ‘Bajaate Raho’ as RED FM has an exclusive stand for itself, aptly named the RED FM STAND.

Commenting on the association, K Shanmugam, CEO, SunRisers said, “Red FM is one of the largest radio networks in the country and best in the business too. We are glad to have them on-board as a principal sponsor and official radio partners for SunRisers. With their extensive reach, it would be possible for SunRisers to reach out to the relevant TG and build loyalty for our new franchisee. Also Red FM is the only radio network to be the principal sponsor for any Pepsi IPL team. It’s a win win for both sides.”
